Dr. Knight grew up in rural New Mexico surrounded by a variety of animals including pigs, cows, horses, chickens, dogs and cats. It was almost inevitable that she would become a veterinarian. She attended the University of Louisville, Kentucky for her undergraduate degree and earned her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Colorado State University. She moved to Tucson after graduation in 1999. Her areas of interest include soft tissue surgery & preventative medicine. She and her husband enjoy a close knit family including four cats and two dogs.
Bert Blumenfeld was born in New York and moved to Tucson in 1971. He obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in 1975 and a Master of Science in animal physiology in 1978 from the University of Arizona. Dr. Blumenfeld attended Oregon State University and earned his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree in 1983. He currently provides orthopedic consultations and surgeries, as well as soft tissue surgeries at Pima Pet Clinic.
Dr. Blumenfeld returned to Tucson and became an owner of Casas Adobes Pet Clinic. During the years of 1983 to 2013, he enjoyed general small animal practice with a particular interest in orthopedic surgery. In 2013, Casas Adobes, Pet Clinic was sold, and Dr. Blumenfeld remained to perform orthopedic surgery for the new owners.
In his spare time, Dr. Blumenfeld and his wife Kim enjoy traveling and hiking with their dog Gertie and spoiling their granddaughter whenever they can!
